Do I need any coding or design skills?

No. Describe your business in plain English during a short onboarding wizard, and SiteSpinner's AI generates a complete website for you - copy, layout, and photos included. You can then keep refining it by chatting with the AI or clicking directly on the page to edit text and images.

How long does the free trial last, and what do I get?

7 days, no credit card required. During the trial you get full access to everything the Loom plan offers in the site builder itself - a high daily generation limit, so you can fully build and refine your site. Your preview carries a small "Built with SiteSpinner" badge that disappears the moment you subscribe to either paid plan. Real hosting - a free subdomain or, if you'd rather, your own custom domain - turns on the moment you're on either paid plan.

What happens when my trial ends?

You get a few extra days of grace on top of the 7-day trial to decide. After that, your account locks - you'll see a simple screen to choose Thread or Loom - but nothing is deleted. Once you pick a plan, everything you built is exactly as you left it.

What's the difference between the Thread and Loom plans?

Thread is the lower-cost plan: fewer AI generations per day and 2 business email accounts (2GB each). Loom raises your daily generation limit and gives you 5 business email accounts (5GB each). Both plans include real production hosting and support connecting your own custom domain. Both are billed monthly or annually at a lower effective monthly rate, and both are free of the "Built with SiteSpinner" badge the moment you subscribe - only the free trial preview carries it.

What is the "Contact us" / Bespoke plan?

It's for businesses that need something beyond the self-serve builder - bespoke design work, custom software, or Cusentric's multi-channel verification product, DialSense. It's not a self-serve checkout; you reach out and it's scoped and priced directly with you.

Can I cancel or change my plan?

Yes, any time, from the "Manage billing" button on your dashboard - it opens Stripe's secure billing portal where you can switch plans, update your card, or cancel. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.

Why do I need to verify my phone number before upgrading?

It's a one-time step - a text message with a short code - the first time you upgrade to a paid plan. It's there to keep the trial fraud-free for everyone, not to spam or resell your number. Once verified, you're never asked again, even for future plan changes.

Will my price go up later?

No. Your price is locked in for as long as you stay on your plan - no surprise renewal-year hikes.

Do I need to already own a domain name, and does SiteSpinner register one for me?

Every site gets a free subdomain to start (like yourbusiness.cusentric.com), so you can launch immediately without owning anything. When you're ready for your own domain, the free search tool on your dashboard checks real availability and pricing - for common domain endings, you can register it directly through SiteSpinner for $11.99/year (free with an annual Loom plan), or use the same tool's link to register it yourself at Cloudflare instead. You stay the owner of your domain either way.

I bought a domain somewhere else (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.) - can I still use it?

Yes. It doesn't matter where you registered it. On either paid plan, add it as your custom domain from the dashboard and update that domain's nameservers/DNS records the way we show you - your registrar's dashboard is where you make that change, not ours.

What's the difference between the free domain search tool and actually buying a domain?

The search tool on your dashboard only checks availability and price - it never buys or registers anything for you. When you find one you like, it links you to Cloudflare's registrar to complete the purchase yourself, at Cloudflare's normal pricing. Once you own it, come back and connect it as your custom domain.

Can I use a custom domain on the Thread plan?

Yes - custom domains work on either paid plan, Thread included. You're never required to stay on the free subdomain.

Can I accept payments from my own customers through my site?

Yes, on Thread or Loom. Connect your own free Stripe account from your dashboard, then create payment links (for a deposit, a service fee, anything with an amount and a description) that you can share or add to your site. The money goes straight to your Stripe account, not through us - you keep full control of refunds, payouts, and your own dashboard.

Do I need my own Stripe account, or does SiteSpinner handle payouts for me?

You need your own (free, quick to set up) Stripe account. We never hold or forward your customers' money - it's your account, your payouts, your tax reporting.

What is the "Get Found" packet?

A free tool on your dashboard that gives you ready-to-paste business listing text, a review-request message you can send customers, and direct links to list your business on Google, Bing, and Apple. Every generated site also automatically includes structured business markup that helps search engines understand who you are and where you're located - no setup needed.

Is my data or my customers' data safe?

Your account is protected by email verification and, before any paid upgrade, phone verification. Contact and appointment forms on generated sites only collect what's actually needed (name, phone, email, and similar) - the AI is instructed never to invent or request sensitive personal information, like medical history on a health-practice site.

How do I make changes after my site is generated?

Two ways: tell the AI what to change in plain English through the chat panel (e.g. "add a testimonials section" or "make the hero image about our bakery, not our cafe"), or click directly on any text or image on the page to edit it in place. Both ways save automatically and count toward your daily generation limit.

What happens if I run out of generations for the day?

Your daily limit resets automatically the next day - nothing you've already built is affected. Loom's daily limit is substantially higher than Thread's if you find yourself iterating a lot.

Can I remove the "Built with SiteSpinner" badge?

It disappears automatically the moment you subscribe to either paid plan - Thread or Loom. Only the free trial preview carries it.
